This post has been long overdue but here we go. If you have not watched Glee's second episode "Britney 2.0" than you might want to steer away from this post, however if you just can't help it keep reading. Last Thursday's episode was another Britney and I thought it was hilarious. Of course one of the main characters behind this episode was Britany S. Pierce, our favorite two time Glee senior. I loved how it portrayed her spiraling out of control such as Britney herself once did. The "Gimme More" performance had me rolling on the floor laughing, but it wasn't all just about Britany, I loved what they did with Jake. In fact, I thought the directors and writers were reading my mind, because the Puckerman brother had a mini family reunion, and I'll let you know one thing both brothers are the same and neither of them are going to change. Britney Spear's song "Womanizer" revolved aroundn Jake Puckerman and his womanizing ways, and though Puck and Jake met, Puck had to dash back to Los Angeles because of a woman. And with that Marley's heart was broken, it turns out he Jake was already with the Cheerios new, feisty member Kitty (Quinn number two). And with the subject of broken hearts we are off to New York City with Rachel. Rachel has her heart broken not just by Finn but also by her dance instructor, who doesn't allow her to tango because she's doesn't believe Rachel is sexy enough. In fact, she decides to prove to her dance instructor, Cassie July (Kate Hudson's character), that she is sexy and does a pretty hot number with Brody Weston. This number was Britney Spears' popular hit "Oops I did it again". And in this case Rachel did do it again, she opened her mouth to call out her dance instructor, getting herself kicked out of class. But, everything was mended over, and Cassie July gave Rachel some advice. The show ended with a high and low note, Marley was heart broken, and after Brody had tried to kiss Rachel, she decided that maybe it was time to move on and give somebody else a chance at winning over her heart. That's it for now and don't forget to tune in to FOX on Thursdays to wathch Glee.
Do you still think there is hope for Jake and Marley?
Will Rachel finally fall for Brody?
Where is Finn?
Does anybody else want an episode dedicated to the Puckerman brothers?
I like that you warn readers at the beginning, it would be terrible to inform them in advanced about what was going to happen.
ReplyDeleteI was at work and a Glee version of a song came on so I thought about your blog!
I can't believe Rachel and Finn aren't together, considering the first 2 seasons revolved around them. I think it would be awesome if you did a post where you guessed what was going to happen in the next episode.
