The Thanksgiving Episode

Yes, the Thanksgiving episode was a week late but hey it was an amazing episode and let's be serious here I bet you were still eating Turkey sandwiches.  The episode had everything from reunions to sectionals.  So I'll break it down for you:

Reunions- It looks like all the seniors, except Kurt and Rachel, are back in Lima and they're there to help Finn out with the newest members of New Directions. So the newest members, Wade, Kitty, Ryder, Jake, and Marley get paired up with the old members and I assure you it's not all singing and dancing.

Kurt and Rachel: Well we all saw what went down between Cassie and Brody, and Rachel was not too happy about it.  So, both Kurt and Rachel decided to ward off men in general and continue with their dreams.  However, Rachel was still mad about the Cassie thing and she showed it when Brody substituted for the class, he then proceeded to tell her that we're all adults and explained that she was the one who had rejected him at first.  So things were in a way mended, and she invited him to Kurt and Rachel's Orphan Thanksgiving (their not really orphans, they just decided not to go home).  Kurt also invited his boss, Sarah Jessica Parker's character, to the party.  Well, Kurt and Rachel got more than they bargained for when a "Kiki" was thrown at their apartment. (By the way you should check out the Turkey scene between Brody and Rachel)

Klaine: I making a separate part for Klaine fans because it looks like there might be hope for Klaine.  After Kurt's boss tells him that you need to forgive in order to move on, Kurt calls Blaine and he lets him know that he forgives him and that they'll talk about things soon. There is definitely some tears on both sides and this is all before Blaine hits the stage for sectionals.  Probably one of the best parts of the episode.

Mentees and Slapfights: By helping the newest members out, I don't just mean song numbers I mean problems in general, Santana has a knack for spotting when something is wrong, and she quickly picks up on Marley.  Of course, behind it all is Quinn's mentee Kitty, who very much idolizes Quinn and delivers one of the most memorable lines of the episode "What Would Quinn Fabray Do?". Kitty then goes on to tell Quinn about Marley and Jake, lying by saying that Jake is pressuring Marley to have sex.  This of course sends Quinn into a Queen Witch (replace the W with a B) search for the Puckermans, mainly Jake, she tells him to back off because Marley can't do her best with distractions such as him.  Santana doesn't fall for Kitty's act she knows that she's behind Marley's disorder, and decides to point it out to Quinn. However, Quinn doesn't believe it and decides to let Santana in on her Yale life, including her new relationship with her 35 year old, married professor.  Just when I thought Quinn had finally matured, she goes back to being the naive girl.  Hearing this Santana decides to go into one of her sarcastic, "keeping it real" lectures, I miss those. Quinn of course is full of herself and decides to tell Santana that she's just jealous of her, Santana then decides to mention how Quinn never sees her kid. This leads to the two most epic slaps I've seen in the entire series of Glee.

Marley: If you haven't been up to date on Glee well Marley has an eating disorder and it's not just bulimia, she has also been starving herself. I mean literally, she stopped herself from eating a Tic-Tac before sectionals.  A lot of pressure to look her best for sectionals have kept her on this crazy "NO Food" diet, a lot of it also has to do with Kitty.  But, she's really self conscious about it and doesn't want anyone to know, however Ryder knows and when it comes to Sectionals he's the one trying to keep her calm. This also comes between Jake and Marley who though they are dating Ryder still has a thing for her, and he's trying to help her out with this issue.

Jake and Ryder: Well Brittany needs a dance partner so, Jake decides that since he's getting Marley he'll leave the dance number to "Gangnam Style" to Ryder.  Well, Ryder is working really hard but learning Korean on top of the fact that you have dyslexia is pretty complicated.  So after making a few jokes Jake tells Ryder that the song is so you can let loose and not so much about technique, and that's when we see some of Jake's awesome ballet moves.  Ryder insists that he take the dance number, but Jake declines it and says that he'll help out instead.  With that said we go into sectionals...

Sectionals: The Warblers were definitely some great competition performing a song by One Direction and by Flo Rida.  However, New Directions Gangnam Style was definitely a hit until well, Marley passed out at the end.  And as for Jake he did end up taking the lead, this was so Ryder could comfort Marley who was feeling self conscious.  Marley was doing good until the end of the number where she completely fainted and that's the last of the episode. We were left at a cliffhanger. Check out my next post for sneak peeks of the next episode.
